As part of my unrelenting investment in personal growth and development, I am continually seeking information on methods for increasing revenue and heightened performance. I can now easily say that I have read tons of books on the subject, and I have worked with a number of high level coaches and trainers. What has become very obvious to me, is the role that mindset and personal beliefs play as we look to achieve success.
With increased awareness, I now realize that our beliefs play a critical role in our business outcomes. I see this time and time again with people who work really hard in their businesses but don’t really believe that they will be successful; they often feel like the chips are stacked against them. Ultimately, the chips are stacked against them because they are doing the stacking.
What is your limiting belief? Ask yourself how that belief has affected you and your business. What would life be like if you could change some of those beliefs? Everyone has limiting beliefs that have been imprinted on us throughout our lifetime, however once you become aware of them, you can easily overcome them. Just to give you a hint, limiting beliefs often show up as excuses. Some of my old favorites used to be, “I don’t have time”, or “I don’t have money”. Now whenever I hear myself saying or thinking those thoughts, I did deeper. Truth be told, if there is something I really want I will always find the time and the money for it. That’s the truth, and I am sure it is for you too. I encourage you to consider what is holding you back and to work them out one step at a time to improve your success.
