SBS-PTAC: Contract Management Series – Recordkeeping & Reporting

About This Event:

Every day, the government buys billions of dollars’ worth of goods and services from businesses. In an ongoing effort to assist businesses interested in selling to the government, the New York City Department of Small Business Services Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) offers the Contract Management Series.

During this webinar, we will review the recordkeeping and reporting requirements for Contractors doing business with the City of New York. Contractors are required to retain all books, records, and documents created in the regular course of business for a period of six years after the receipt of their last payment. We will discuss the requirements for recordkeeping, the documents that need to be maintained and best practices for keeping this information. We will also talk about reporting requirements and review the process for preparing and submitting invoices, processing payment requisitions, and change orders.

  • The requirements for maintaining books, records, and files on New York City contracts
  • How to prepare and submit invoices
  • How to prepare a payment requisition package
  • How to request and make changes on contracts by processing a change order

 

 

VA Direct Access Program – Schneider Electric Virtual Scheduled 1-on-1s

About This Event:

Deadline to register for consideration: Wednesday, July 23, 2021, or at capacity. Whichever comes first.

Selected firms will participate in a virtual 1-on-1 meeting which will entail a video and audio interaction with Schneider Electric representatives. If your company is selected by Schneider Electric for an appointment, you will receive additional correspondence from the Hosts and the Direct Access Program no later than Friday, August 13th.

Schneider Electric, in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting virtual scheduled 1-on-1 meetings.
